
How to File an Arbitration Request
In the event of commission disputes between REALTORS® associated with different firms, REALTORS® shall submit the dispute to arbitration rather than litigate the matter pursuant to Article 17 of the REALTORS® Code of Ethics.

Complete
form #A-1 (Request and Agreement to Arbitrate).

Attach a written summary of the situation and any documentation (such as listing agreements, purchase agreements, buyer contracts or MLS datasheets) which support your request.

Requests must be filed within 180 days of the transaction or when the facts constituting the matter complained of could have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence.

Include 1 copy of the request and the attachments.

Include a check payable to MNAR for $250 (Each party is required to submit a $250 deposit. The prevailing parties' deposit will be returned and the non-prevailing parties' deposit will be retained by MNAR to offset the administrative costs related to the proceeding).
