This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit.
 
This course introduces radon, a soil gas that can cause lung cancer. The learning objectives include: health concerns; how radon enters buildings; radon testing methods; how radon can be reduced; radon disclosure in home sales; radon resistant new construction; and radon licensure requirements. It is a 1.5-hour traditional classroom style lecture course. Opportunities for question and answer are provided throughout the course.
 
**Please note:  This class will be offered IN-PERSON. Materials will be sent to you via email 24-hours prior to the class.If you register and are unable to attend, we would appreciate it if you would let us know 48 hours in advance of the class, this way we have an opportunity to allow another student to attend since class size is limited.  If you cancel within 2 business days of the class, you will be charged $10.  "No Shows" will be charged $25.
 
Plan to be on time as the DOC Rules require you to not miss ANY of the class or NO CE will be given.
