Wendy Uzelac opened her RE/MAX Thousand Lakes office 20 years ago. She has spent more than 31 years as a real estate professional, keeping the needs of clients front and center.

While Wendy maintains a strong referral network driven by positive client relationships and experiences, she continually works to expand her knowledge through continuing education. Her considerable professional achievements include the Council of Residential Specialist (CRS) real estate designation. Of more than 1 million REALTORS®, less than 3 percent are Certified Residential Specialists. To earn this designation, REALTORS® must demonstrate outstanding professional achievements (including high-volume sales) and pursue advanced training in areas such as finance, marketing and technology.
Just as Wendy continues to earn the trust of clients with her deep knowledge of the real estate market, property values and the area in which she lives and works, clients also appreciate her community involvement and willingness to volunteer. Wendy is a past president of the Itasca County Board of Realtors and has been part of many Grand Rapids area nonprofit boards and committees over the years. She is also the current Centennial Rotary Club past president and belongs to the local chapter of Business Network International (BNI), where members work together to build their businesses through a professional, relationship-centered referral marketing program.
The real estate industry, too, has taken notice of Wendy's hard work – and great results. In fact, Wendy received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award, honoring agents who have earned more than $1 million in commissions during their careers with the company.
On a personal level, Wendy and her family enjoy engaging in the amazing variety of activities available in the Itasca County area. She is just as likely to be spotted at a 4-H event as at a symphony concert in the local performing arts center. Wendy's knowledge of the many diverse offerings and things to do in this beautiful northern Minnesota area is an added benefit for her clients.
