Pick your channels: Where does your target audience spend their time online — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.?

Plan your content: Choose mediums that best suit your communication style: videos, podcasts, blogs, Pinterest posts, Instagram stories and posts, etc. Fill your feeds with checklists, tips, how-to guides, FAQs, newsletters, and other information that’s useful and relevant to your audience.

Idea: Host a weekly live show: Live video has a massive reach and priority on social media. You can also re-purpose and boost recordings of live videos in the future. If you plan on a weekly live show, keep it consistent and let your followers know when to tune in every week. Ideas include a weekly market summary with a community showcase or a buyer or seller tip of the week.

2. Like, comment, follow... and engage!

The goal is to track all the names, emails, and phone numbers you collect and add them to your database. Once someone chooses to follow you online, there’s a higher probability that they’ll regularly see your content and engage with you. When you start running online ads, you can include them in your targeting efforts, which makes for greater leverage and follow-up opportunities.

Engaging with clients on social media is a huge opportunity to stay top of mind. Regularly pay attention to, acknowledge, and show up for your future clients by liking, commenting, and sharing their posts when appropriate. These small actions show that you are truly there for them and invested in what matters most.

3. Leverage lists for retargeting

Retargeting ads are a powerful marketing tool. You can execute ads to an existing list of people or those that have visited your website. By creating and installing a Facebook Pixel (code that collects data to track visitors) on your website, it’s simple to start marketing to your website visitors with ads tailored to them. Already have a list of people in your database? Upload your list to Facebook, and you can target those people specifically. Lookalike ads pull a group of people with behaviors similar to those on your list for targeting, which is great for prospecting!

😀 🙌 🏘 And don’t forget about emojis! On average, they increase engagement by 25%! 🎊 🏠
