Recognizing the strong tie between healthy businesses and home ownership, all money raised will fund the rebuilding of businesses in the Twin Cities that were damaged or destroyed following the killing of George Floyd.

All funds raised will go through the MAR Foundation, and will be distributed to the following organizations:

  • Upper Northside Business Association
Rebuilding Camden neighborhood businesses (mostly minority owned).
  • Longfellow Community Council
31 buildings (including 3 grocery stores) destroyed, 49 others damaged. Money raised will go toward food security, safety and business rebuilding.
  • Minneapolis Foundation
Donations used for preventing further violence, healing individuals and communities affected by this horrific tragedy and addressing systemic inequities and criminal justice reform.
  • Twin Cities Rebuild for the Future Fund
Minneapolis Foundation + Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation provides support for small businesses owned by Black, Indigenous and People of Color that were damaged. The fund prioritizes the West Broadway corridor and Lake Street in Minneapolis and University Avenue in St. Paul. Support is not limited to these areas.

MN Realtors® Rebuilding Community is a multi-association effort to engage in racial diversity, equity and inclusion issues as they pertain to housing. Partners in this effort include Minnesota Realtors®, Minneapolis Area REALTORS®, and the St. Paul Area Association of REALTORS® are founding partners.
