However, each Realtor® has a tremendous opportunity to develop new relationships, evolve and learn with the industry, and help people achieve their next step in life; whether it’s their first home, second property, or downsizing. It’s emotional, it’s significant, and Realtors® are the guide for consumers in that journey.

Our consumer campaign for 2021 asks Minnesota’s real estate professionals a simple yet profound question: why did you become a Realtor®? The responses we gathered from Realtors® across the state are the heart of a digital marketing campaign that will be featured on our website and across social media. Through videos and quotes, Realtors® share what inspired them to pursue careers in real estate, talk about the best part of their jobs, and discuss what drives and sustains the work they do.

We’ve discovered that for most Realtors®, the profession is far more than a way to make a living. Their “why” is often a call to service that lets them:

  • Develop lifelong relationships
  • Help people achieve homeownership
  • Connect people to and within their communities
  • Support the community
