UNITE!, Minnesota Realtors® (MNR) annual convention for the association’s real estate professionals, returns to an in-person format this fall in St. Cloud. Hosted at River’s Edge Convention Center on October 6-7, the two-day event includes many outstanding national and local speakers, continuing education classes, a leadership installation dinner, and an expo featuring businesses that cater to the real estate industry.

“After a long year apart, it’s time to gather, meet, mingle, learn, laugh, and roll up our sleeves to build a better real estate industry to serve our state,” said TJ Simon, 2021 MNR President. “At UNITE!, we talk about issues, share ideas, and find ways to collaborate. It’s a good time, but more importantly, it’s good for your business.”

Kicking off the events at UNITE! this year is an inspiring opening session with John Kriesel, a former Minnesota state representative who recounts his profound transformation following the deadly explosion he survived while serving as a soldier in the Iraq War.
David Arbit, director of research and economics at Minneapolis Area Realtors®, will provide an informative overview of Minnesota’s housing market.
During a panel discussion, Victor Lund (WAV Group Founding Partner) and John Mosey (CEO of NorthstarMLS) will give an update of the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS), the organization that serves the listing needs of over 90 percent of the state’s Realtors®.
During the Installation dinner on Wednesday night (Oct. 6), MNR President TJ Simon will preside over the ceremony that officially inaugurates the association’s new leadership for 2022. Jason Miller will be installed as president, Emily Green will be inducted as president-elect.
Special Guests
Special guests include Valerie Garcia, an award-winning speaker who will discuss the impact of technology on the real estate industry and explore ways businesses can adapt.
Jeff Turner, who founded Real Estate Shows, will explore the intersection of technology and human behavior.
Shay Hata, a Realtor® and entrepreneur based in Chicago, will offer tips and strategies for doubling your business in one year.
“Early Bird” registration runs July 13 through September 2 at $160 for both days. Members who only want to attend for one day can register for $125 during the “Early Bird” period. After that, the fee increases to $200 for both days through October 4. If seats are still available, on-site registration will be offered for $250.
