Minneapolis was named number two in LendingTree’s survey, 50 Top Cities for Raising Kids.
The methodology that researchers used in creating the list included rankings of median family incomes, monthly housing costs for homes with a mortgage, homeownership rates among families with at least one child, unemployment, education attainment, commute time, and more.
Minneapolis ranked high on this survey due in part to its high average income and low unemployment rate. Of course, we all know that Minneapolis is only one of many great places to raise a family in the state of Minnesota!
