Minnesota Realtors® Welcomes Kate Swanson as Legal Affairs Coordinator

MNR is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Swanson as Legal Affairs Coordinator in the Legal Affairs department. 

Kate earned her Paralegal Certificate from the Minnesota School of Business. She has been employed with Faegre Drinker, General Mills, Jack Links, and Regis Corp. where she gained considerable legal support experience in IP, Real Estate, Tax, Corporate, and Pro Bono work.

“We are very excited about the skillset that Kate is bringing to Minnesota Realtors®,” said Jonathan Kopecky, senior vice president of legal affairs. “This role is integral in keeping the organization and our membership on track with the legal hotline, risk management, and professional standards.” 

Kate has volunteered with the Volunteer Lawyers Network at their Legal Access Point Clinic (courthouse clinic), assisting primarily with Landlord/Tenant issues. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and doing crossword puzzles.
