(Aug. 22, 2024)—Minnesota Realtors® is proud to announce the receipt of a $1 million grant from the Realtors® Relief Foundation (RRF) in response to the recent flooding that has affected communities across the state. This funding will provide up to $1,000 per household to any Minnesotan forced to leave their homes due to flood damage.

Applications for relief funding are now open. Those affected can apply for assistance and find more information HERE.

The application deadline has been extended to December 6, 2024.

The Realtors Relief Foundation, established by the National Association of Realtors® in 2001, has a long-standing commitment to helping disaster victims secure safe housing. The RRF has distributed millions in aid to families across the nation, reinforcing its mission to support communities in crisis, ensuring that everyone has a place to call home.

“We’re thrilled to receive this grant from the Realtors® Relief Foundation,” said Josh McFall, CEO of Minnesota Realtors. “This funding enables us to provide vital assistance to families displaced by the recent flooding. Applications are open through December 6, and we urge anyone in need of assistance to apply. We look forward to supporting as many families as possible during this challenging time.”

In addition to the relief efforts, Minnesota Realtors® invites the community to join in supporting victims of natural disasters. Donations to the Realtors® Relief Foundation can be made by texting TEAMRRF to 71777. Every contribution goes directly to those in need, helping them rebuild their lives and homes.
