Fair Housing & Agency
This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 3.75 hours of real Estate Continuing Education
Two of the most common issues that the licensee will face daily in their real estate business, are discussing agency law and fair housing laws with their clients. This class will overview Fair Housing, the history, the laws both federal and state and the methods to make sure the licensee and their clients stay compliant with the law. We will also look at some of the most recent issues regarding fair housing and discuss scenarios that may occur. The second section of this class we will explore agency law in Minnesota as well as the fiduciary duties and responsibilities licensees have with their clients.
