The Why In Realty

Mankato

My husband and I moved to the Mankato area so he could attend school. I was working at a private golf course and a real estate broker approached me and told me he thought I would make a great real estate agent. After discussing it with my husband, he agreed I should give it a shot – as they say, the rest is history.

I think the best part of being a Realtor® is the different people you get to meet, and every situation is so different, which not only makes every day unique, but also challenging.  Having a challenge makes you think and work harder for the common goal of either selling or buying a home. So, building new relationships - that is the best part of being a Realtor®.

The average consumer may not understand what all is involved in a real estate transaction, or what Realtors® do every day. Real estate transactions are an important part of our economy. If you think about it; every home buyer and or seller might need to hire home inspectors, home movers/moving vans, purchase new items for the house, use a relocation company, mortgage companies, title companies, appraisers, surveyors, septic/well companies, radon mitigation companies, home warranty companies, contractors, painters, and the list goes on and on. It is always the subject of conversation – so real estate is what makes the world go round!
