A little about me: I was raised in a beautiful, small town in Northwest Arkansas. The rural lifestyle in which I grew up focused on hard work, family, education and community. I was so blessed that my father taught me how to run a successful business as well as the ins and outs of real estate including everything from building and selling homes to managing rentals.
After marrying my amazing husband, we spent several years in Florida where I worked for the Disney Development Company and Walt Disney Imagineering creating the town of Celebration. The experience of planning the town from the very beginning to seeing the first residents move-in fueled my passion for real estate. When we moved from Florida, I continued to work for DDC/WDI then transitioned into education and volunteer activities. Our family moved several times after Florida and added two sons, one daughter, two cats, three dogs, and an iguana, as well as many wonderful experiences.
We are so very fortunate to have moved to Minnesota in 2009. We enjoy all the opportunities available in Minnesota whether it be the world-class dining (shhh, this is our state's little secret), the professional sporting events, or the arts scene; there is so much to experience here. My family is very involved in our local community through our volunteer activities, our church, Boy Scouts, local city government commissions, my children's schools, and all the sports we participate in, such as hockey, basketball, soccer, fast-pitch softball, and volleyball. Exploring the amazing trails and parks in our beautiful state are some of our favorite things to do in addition to camping and boating on the gorgeous Minnesota lakes. We are absolutely blessed to live in this state and everything the Midwest has to offer.
Professionally, I have served as an appointed member of the Delano City Planning Commission, an elected member of the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MAR) Government Affairs Committee, a member of the MAR Awards and Engagement Committee, a member of Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) and have earned designations as an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS™) and am Residential Construction Certified (RCC™).
For 2019, I was honored to receive Rookie of the Year for my company and earned the Chairman’s Circle Gold designation which recognized me as one of the top 2% of selling agents. I have continued to earn selling awards since then including the 100% Award and Executive Club for RE/MAX Results. It is wonderful to work for a company that recognizes diligence and hard work at every level.
I truly love what I do and have a tenacious desire to help my clients with all aspects of their home sale and/or purchase. It is such a joy and privilege to help my clients especially since they quickly become friends and family. Having been on both sides of the moving adventure, from moving within a city to across the country, and having experienced many home sales and home purchases, I know personally the ups and downs of real estate from both sides of the transaction. My goal is to make the process as painless and fun as possible using my knowledge and experience to help my clients enjoy one of the biggest transactions of their lives.
