David is the Director of Research at Minnesota Realtors®. His role includes market research, media relations, outreach, supporting advocacy efforts as well as education and training. He holds a Masters in Housing and Economic Development from the University of Minnesota as well as a degree in Political Science. David has nearly 20 years of housing and economic research experience spanning government, private sector and as a consultant. Past posts include the Minneapolis economic development agency, the Family Housing Fund, the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation, the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs and a data and technology startup. He's often cited in the media, serves as an expert witness at the legislature and is a keynote speaker at a wide variety of industry events.
